Dyno-Rod reduce the cost of its standard domestic on-demand drain unblocking service, with prices starting from £75 plus VAT
Dyno-Rod, the UK’s most established emergency drains repair company, today announced that it will be reducing the cost of its standard domestic on-demand drain unblocking service, with prices starting from £75 plus VAT.
The company will be moving over to a new two tiered fixed pricing structure with immediate effect. The new pricing structure will be based on the nature of blockage and the type of equipment used to clear it as outlined below.
• Quick Fix Unblock – Fixed Price £75 plus VAT - a blockage that can be cleared easily and quickly using rods and plungers.
• Mechanical Unblock – Fixed Price £120 plus VAT - a blockage that requires mechanical equipment such as a high pressure water jet or electro-mechanical machining in order to clear it.

Announcing the price reduction Ranjit Randhawa, Marketing Manager at Dyno-Rod, said:
“We carried out a great deal of both customer and market research regarding our existing pricing structure, and this research highlighted that our prices weren’t the cheapest in the market but more importantly they weren’t the most expensive either.
However, customer perception is that our prices are expensive even though this isn’t the case. We also found that what customers did like about our old pricing structure was that they knew exactly what they’d be paying because our prices were fixed.
With this in mind we wanted to ensure that our new pricing structure continues to offer customers a great service for a great price. We also wanted to retain our fixed price heritage because it gives customers peace of mind and the reassurance of knowing exactly what they’ll be charged.
We believe that our new two tiered fixed pricing structure not only represents excellent value for money but it will also have wider appeal, even to those who haven’t considered using our services previously”.
The new pricing structure will not affect Dyno-Rod’s commercial on-demand drain unblock service or its on-demand plumbing services.
