A Specialist Drainage Claims Investigation And Reporting Service
For our insurance/insurance related customers, Dyno provides a specialist Claims Handling service within the "Dyno Claims Unit" division.
Most of our Claim Handlers have come to us direct with a Claim Handling background from within the insurance industry. Consequently they understand the process from the insurer's point of view.
In our "suppliers" role, we provide a full Claim Handling facility on each and every claim ensuring that, for our part of the process, a fast and speedy conclusion is achieved.
For example, our in-depth reporting system covers:
- Drainage legislation issues as well as recoveries (It may not be the Policyholder's/Insurer's responsibility or indeed ownership, i.e. Section 24)
- The cause of the damage, including poor installation
- Any issues relating to abuse
- Information relating to repudiating a claim
- Recoveries
- Wear & Tear
- Pre-inception
- Third Party involvement (other contractors damage)
We are also able to operate within a "Delegated Authority" status position, which provides an even faster service in respect of resolving claims.
Training Your Claim Handling Team
Dyno can provide full in-house training for your claims staff, which covers not only our reporting methods, but also technical drainage training.
A practical demonstration can be arranged at your premises for your claim handling team which will provide them with a good understanding of how a drainage system works and covers:
- In - Drain inspection and reporting (resulting from CCTV survey)
- Drain Repairs without excavation (eg. Drain Lining)
- Drain Repairs using Excavation
- Causes of Drainage problems and resultant damage
- Health and Safety issues
This service is provided free of charge.
We welcome audits from within the insurance industry to assess our performance on the specific claims we have handled for the auditing insurer and indeed we receive audits already.Insurance Technical Assessment Team
In addition to our Claim Handlers, our field based "Insurance Technical Assessment Team" provides further back up for our insurance customers providing a service which covers:
- Field accompaniments for our staff
- Technical Assessment Reports (our Managers carry full CCTV investigation equipment and make reports available for audit).
- Policyholder interviews
The services provided by our "Dyno Claims Unit" is provided at no additional cost but is provided exclusively for volume business.
