Cisterns and toilets
We offer Hippo the water saver for your cisterns. It’s a simple device that saves three litres of water every time you flush and usually pays for itself over a period of time. We can also fit dual-flush toilets, which reduce water consumption by offering a shorter flush option as well as the standard flush.
Showers
Water saving showerheads cut down the amount of water that you use without affecting the power of your shower. It works by mixing more air with the flow of water than standard heads. Again, it’ll pay you back in three months or so, on average.
Pipes
Pipeguard is a low cost method of reducing the damage if the worst happens and your pipes burst. It works two ways, by flow and by time, to shut down the supply if it detects irregular patterns. The first is by flow rate, isolating the supply if it seems unusual. The second is by time, so if water keeps flowing well past what seems reasonable, it will shut down the supply.
Heating
Control the temperature in each room of the house with thermostatic radiator valves, as recommended by the Energy Savings Trust. They’re perfect for making sure the living is warm and cosy without turning the bedroom into a sauna and they are proven to cut energy bills.
