CCTV inspection

If we can’t easily spot the cause of a blockage, we can take a closer look with our CCTV equipment. In many cases, this is included in the fixed price unblock. We also offer a full comprehensive CCTV survey that can spot issues before they turn into major problems

The causes of drainage problems

For the most part we’re called out to clear blockages. These can be caused by fat and grease from cooking, even tree roots. In more serious cases it’s a structural defect, or a broken pipe that’s a problem, perhaps caused by ground movement, vehicles, corrosion, subsidence or just age. The good news is that in all of these cases, our engineers will be able to fix the problem with minimal fuss and value for money. Whatever the problem, we can deal with it.

High pressure water jetting

With a pressure of up to 4000psi, our water jets really pack a punch. They’ll strip hard scale from pipe walls like a laser and break down concrete, fats, oil and grease, even tree roots, in seconds.

Tanker jetting

When the job involves larger sewers and culverts, we bring in a tanker. With a flow of over 50 gallons a minute they will remove large volumes of silt and debris easily, even if there’s no readily available mains water supply.

Electro-mechanical cleaning

Cutters and blades fitted to rotating flexible steel cables are pushed along pipes to cut away debris like tree roots and hardened deposits.
