When you’d like to help prevent problems before they happen,
Call us and we’ll set up a tailored plan

Set up your own bespoke plan

Drainage problems can hit suddenly and at any time. One thing's for certain, they’ll always be inconvenient. More than that they can be unpleasant for you, your colleagues and your customers. If you’re in the catering trade, they could even put you in danger of legal action and have serious financial implications.

Planned Maintenance will put your mind at rest. Our highly-trained, experienced engineers will carry out a thorough check of all aspects of your drainage and use that to create a plan for regular maintenance tailored specifically to your operational requirements.

Why you can rely on us to keep your drains clear:

  • All work carried out to highest professional standards and fully guaranteed
  • Bespoke plan designed to suit your specific needs
  • The right equipment available to keep your drains clear
  • Free emergency call-outs as part of your plan - 24 hours a day, every day of the year

How Planned Maintenance works

When you contact us to arrange Planned Maintenance, our engineers will visit your premises and carry out a thorough assessment of your drainage system internal and external, including inspecting all wash basins and urinals. They will then advise you on any obvious problems before writing a full report on their findings. This report will form the basis of a service schedule tailored to your needs. All this is carried out free of charge and with no obligation on your part.

If you decide to sign up to the schedule, our engineers will carry out regular service visits to your premises where they will either purge and clean your entire drainage system or specific sections of it in line with the agreed schedule. Planned Maintenance reduces call-out and down time.

The right tools for every job

Often clearing a blockage is straightforward. If the problem lies deeper in the drains, our engineers may use steel rods to dislodge it, high pressure water jetting or electro mechanical cleaning, which uses specialist cutters on rotating steel rods to clear hardened debris. Rest assured, once we’ve found out what the problem is we’ll have the right equipment on hand to deal with it quickly.

Common causes of blockages

Ninety percent of the time it’s just the build-up of what’s gone into the drain that blocks them. This is all part of the normal wear and tear. If you run a catering business, then it’s likely to be a build up of fats, grease and oil along with food scraps that have caused a blockage. On other occasions the cause may be items flushed down the toilet. Finally, it might simply be a structural defect or breakage caused by ground movement, vehicles, corrosion or subsidence.

The highest standard of professionalism

All of our work is guaranteed. It’s carried out by our highly-skilled engineers, who will offer a consistent level of high quality work and maintain their equipment to the best possible standards. Our engineers also put safety at the top of their agenda, complying fully with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 and The Control of Substances Hazardous Health Regulations 1988. So you can feel safe in the knowledge that they won’t just do the job well, they’ll treat you, your colleagues and your premises with respect too.
