When you have a hidden drainage problem,
Call us and we’ll track it down with CCTV

What is a CCTV inspection?

CCTV surveys can identify the drainage problem and inform the best remedy or can even spot issues before they become problems.

The causes of a drainage problem are not always immediately obvious. Placing a CCTV camera into the pipework and system will enable our engineers to track down even the most well-hidden blockage. A visual identification of the precise nature of the problem also means we can give you a more accurate estimate of what it will cost to carry out any repairs. Finally, regular CCTV surveys can help identify issues in your drainage system before they become more serious and threaten both your business and the potential risk of prosecution.

Why you can rely on us to find and clear any blockage:

  • We offer CCTV surveys to help identify drainage issues
  • Fast response - 24 hours a day, every day
  • All work carried out to highest professional standards and fully guaranteed
  • Fixed price, and no call out fees

What CCTV can reveal

Fractured pipes — pressure from above, such as a heavy vehicle driving over the ground, can cause cracks and fractures in your drainage pipes. Untreated, these will leak contents into the soil, which could result in further damage to the pipe or even subsidence and damage to your premises.

Collapsed drains — can be caused by the drains being badly built in the first place or a variety of other reasons. If left, not only are blockages likely, but subsidence and environmental damage are possible.

Tree roots
— roots seek out moisture so they can find their way through existing faults into the drains. Once the tree roots have entered the drain, other material will get caught in them, making blockages far more likely and frequent.

A cost-effective solution

Using a CCTV camera will often help us get a job done much more quickly and efficiently. And getting the work done faster means we can help keep the price down and reduce your bill.

Not just for an emergency

CCTV isn’t just useful for finding the source of a current drainage problem, it can help avoid future problems. We offer regular CCTV surveys, which can spot issues long before they develop into something more serious. Over the years, normal wear and tear can see your drains suffering damage both from usage and from subsidence, tree roots or just shoddy construction. The earlier these are spotted the sooner, and more cheaply, they can be repaired.

Before buying new premises

Discovering a problem with the drains at a new workplace after you’ve bought it can prove very expensive. That’s why we offer property pre-purchase surveys, which use CCTV to check the condition of a property’s drains thoroughly before you buy.

Local round-the-clock service

With over 500 vehicles available throughout the UK, you can be certain one of our engineers will be with you within four hours in an emergency. That’s true 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.

CCTV inspection step-by-step

We can carry out a thorough CCTV inspection with no fuss at all. It’s done in three steps:

Step 1 - Getting into the drain

We’ll find an access point, from where the CCTV camera will be pushed along the pipe. In larger pipes the camera might be mounted on a wheeled crawler unit.

Step 2 - Taking a look

Our engineer will see images from the camera as it moves along the pipe on a monitor screen. They will then log anything they see - blockages or structural defects - and their location in the pipe.

Step 3 - Making our report

We give you a report of what we’ve found, listing problems and their location. This may come complete with photos and video footage if necessary, and a plan showing the location of the drain.
